With styles at the harder end of the spectrum undergoing a real rollercoaster ride of peaks and troughs over the last couple of years, production legend Pete Wardman has wisely used the time to not only get back into his beloved studio but also to redevelop his love for good honest house music.  These days you are just as likely to see Pete moving and shaking a dancefloor to sophisticated quality mid-tempo house cut, as to hear him ripping the roof off at a Slinky night with an uplifting hard dance monster.  Because of recent successes in the harder spectrum it's easy to overlook a DJ and production history which covers a diverse range of styles and tastes.

Pete Wardman was first booked as a DJ when he was 17 years old, claiming it was a case of either "either get behind the bar, or the decks"! Fast forward to 1998 and Pete had set up Hampshire based "Power FM", a radio station targeted towards a (largely ignored) youth audience. Within a year the station became market leader, and was later bought by the Capital Radio group. In 1992, Pete was headhunted by KISS 100 FM - the UK's leading dance music station to co-present the weekday breakfast show, progressing to his own weekday show. Over the next two years the ratings skyrocketed and Pete had become one of their 'new school DJ's, also generating a rash of live bookings round the UK

In 1995, when Kiss changed hands, Pete left the daytime schedule and, with a helping hand from Danny Rampling, created a new weekly specialist show under the 'House Nation' banner, and becoming one of the regular presenters of BPM, ITV's Saturday night cult dance TV show as well as releasing the milestone compilation album 'Sherbert' which banged straight into a number 4 chart placing. As a result the legendary club 'Sherbert' was born, becoming one of London's most cutting edge clubs.

Pete has also featured as guest on Pete Tong's 'The Essential Mix' on BBC Radio 1, been a journalist and presenter for BBC News and Current Affairs as well hosting a long running prime time show on KISS 100 FM and in 1997 he became the new weekly resident at Laurence Malice's legendary club TRADE and a regular headliner at the cult clubs world tour dates for many years thereafter.

UPLIFTING HARD TRANCE/HARD HOUSE, EUPHORIC TRANCE

Early releases for the Dutch market under the name DIVINE ORGASM, shortly followed by FANTASIES OF THE MIND and UNDERGROUND NATION OF ROTTERDAM attracted lot of attention kickstarting Dave's production career. In 1994 Dave moved to Germany to better experience the innovative German trance sound producing and remixing trance for labels such as Le Petit Prince, Dance Street, Urban, Dos or Die and Low Spirit, as well as DJ'ing himself at numerous big venues and parties.  A return to The Netherlands lead to futher releases on Celebrative including a huge club hit under the name CLUBBERS DELIGHT and a string of releases on various different labels as Soulman, The Time Traveller, D-Tune and Kinky Boy.

During early 1998 everything happened fast! Neo Records snapped up "Reincarnations" (as Steve Morley, recently remixed and re-released) and Tidy took the awesome "Samsara". Dave also released on Alien Recordings under the names Profiler and Nautica and, as DJ Alici, signed a deal with Cream Records and moved to the UK in 2001 signing his 'Starchild' project to Slinky Records and releasing the Dave Holmes follow up single "Devotion" which went straight into the UK singles charts. Most recent works are "Pressure" as Status 1 with massive plays from Ferry Corsten, Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren and Johan Gielen, as well as trance monster 'Starchild' out on Neo and new Tidy single "Sacrifice" as Steve Morley.

it's suprising this natural producer finds time to DJ himself, but he does, appearing regularly in London at ESCAPE FORM SAMSARA, OBLIVION, SUBMANIAC and MILK, as well as playing bi-weekly at the awesome Extreme Pubbing event SEED held at Camden cult venue the Purple Turtle.

VICKY DEVINE (UK/IBIZA) JUDGEMENT SUNDAYS RESIDENT TRANCE/HARD TRANCE, HOUSE

Vicky has worked within the music industry from the moment she was old enough to club!!!! - as a club reviewer, professional dancer, and then in a promotional capacity and then as a DJ eventually gaining herself a residency at the most successful and glamorous all female club exper8ince CHARLYS ANGELZ IBIZA - currently in it's 6th successive year at various Ibiza superclubs and addition the brand has hosted arenas at the mighty SUNDANCE outdoor festivals (Ibiza 2001) and the huge BIG REUNION events in Skegness (2001 & 2002), as well as the well established residents nights at Bananas in Majorca (2002).

As a result Vicky has gone on to wow fans across the UK and around the world with a reputation built on her driving trance / hard trance sets - although versatile Vicky's house and funky sets are proving equally as popular these days. Guesting at numerous nights including SLINKY WORLDWIDE Asia tour in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, the SMIRNOFF EXPERIENCE tour in India and of course her regular residencies anfd guest slots in Ibiza her second home including a weekly main room residency at the massive JUDGEMENT SUNDAYS at superclub EDEN (which she is due to start for the second summer) playing at many of the other top bars and clubs on the island including guest slots at SPACE and EL DIVINO, not to mention a weekly residency at Majorca's massive superclub BCM for her own night - "ANGELS OF FUNK which she has now played at for the past three years

Vicky has also seen the arts of a successful success caree in production since her first track written back in 2000 (as part of trance duo Sweet Asylum) subsequently released through Infectious Distribution and licensed to Pendragons "Power Trance and Nu NRG" album mixed by Mark Sinclair. "Angelz" also produced under the Sweet Asylum guise was signed to UK based record label Solar and "Fearing Nothing", co-written with Sophie Sugar was released at the beginning of 2003 on Dutch label "F-Active Music". Solo productions followed with "Entravanse" signed to Drizzly at the end of 2005 and released March 2006 on their Illuminate imprint along with a remix from Passion's resident DJ Andy Bagguley. The track has now also been licenced to four compilation albums and has received support and airplay from some of trance's top names including Radio One's Dave Pearce's Dance Anthems show. Her second solo creation entitled "Echoed Kisses" sporting a slick Paul Kershaw Remix is also forthcoming on Drizzly's Illuminate label and has already been tune of the week on Adam White's Ministry of Sound show. She is also back in the studio working on further follow up tracks to be released throughout the coming year.

Radio is also a big part of Vicky's career having provided reports for local Bournemouth station Fire 107.6FM (2002-2004), for Kiss 100 FM (2004) and having her own show on Ibiza's main dance music station Holiday FM (2005).and was chosen as KISS FM's 2004 Ibiza correspondent providing weekly reports for her own "TALKING BALEARICS" slot on Steve Smarts' flagship "FLOORFILLERS" show every Saturday night through the 2004 Ibiza season. This year Vicky will be providing reports for Paul Kershaw's Saturday night trance show on Galaxy FM live from Ibiza in addition to further radio and TV work on the White Isle. Sharkboy - real name Greg arrived on the hard dance scene with a bang in 1996 after cutting his razor teeth to crowds in his native South Africa. At the height of popularity with Londons hard house faithful, Wayne Burgess, usually coupled with Joel B, is cutting it up with a vengeance across most of the coolest clubs in the capital. Sydney born Aussie, BeXta has held the title as Australia’s No1 female DJ for a few years now - producing and performing dance music since 1993, and DJing since 1996, playing continuously across the land of Oz, to crowds of up to 14000 alongside Bjork, Prodigy, Fat Boy Slim, Chemical Brothers, Basement Jaxx, Timo Maas, Carl Cox and John Digweed at BIG DAY OUT, SLINKY, GATECRASHER, and UTOPIA, all who have demanded her presence - as befits a DJ voted into the top 5 of Australian DJ's in a recent poll.

Throughout his 16 year DJ career Mark has played almost every genre of dance music and like many original house DJ's has his DJ roots in 60's American & Northern Soul + r'n'b moving into acid house in 1989.

Two years later, in March 1991,Mark and partner Kate, formed the now legendary PENDRAGON party, which has pioneered and changed the sound every time the commercial market catches up and proved to be the springboard for his current DJ status. 11 years on, Mark is one of the most versatile, prolific and sort after DJ's on the techno trance scene in the UK and across the World. Mark has headlined at many huge events, regulaly playing to crowds of 10.000 in Brazil, 2000 in The Netherlands, and his own Pendragon events in London regulalry attracting sell out crowds at the 4.500 capacity Brixton Acadamy, as well as weekly 2000 crowds at the Fridge night club in Brixton.

Having played such a fundamental part in creating the popularity of the hard trance sound today, Mark decided to produce his own tracks - which have been released on several record labels, including his own Pendragon records, now on their fifth release.  THE Trancemaster!

In the last 18 months Dan has established himself as one of the most
popular DJ's on the hard dance scene. His seamless mixing, ability to read
a crowd and his up for it personality has made him hugely popular with
clubbers and promoters alike. He now plays regularly around the country at
most of the major hard dance clubs including TIDY LONDON, STORM, TASTY,
FRANTIC & MIND OVER MATTER. He has also just secured 2003 residencies at
the infamous SUNNYSIDE UP & CHEEKY LITTLE MONKEY.

Dan has also become a prolific producer with tracks released on highly respected labels such as HARD TRAX & FEERSUM. He has also had several tracks licensed to compilation albums (Nukluez Hard House Anthems 3 & Cyberdog),and is now in much demand for his remixing skills .

As far as we know the only DJ ever to have turned up to play in a 35ft Howitzer Tank, on horseback, and hovering in a UFO, Nippa's musical talent and showman antics have rocketed him to the top with his first ever club gig at the Ministry of Sound after only two months of mixing. Next came residency and promotion of the famous Penge parties - a 2000 sell out every time described as 'The Best Party of '95'. acquiring Nippa cult status and a loyal following.

In demand Nippa became main resident for Pussycat Club at the Zap in Brighton, now in its 7th successful year billing Nippa alongside Danny Rampling, Judge Jules, Fergie, Alex P, Harry Choo Choo, Erick Morillo, Gorden Kaye, Allister Whitehead, K-Klass, Sister Bliss, Seb Fontaine, tall Paul, Ferry Corsten, Mauro Piccoto, DJ Tiesto, Push, Woody Van Eyden, Anne Savage and Lisa Lashes. Nippa was recently nominated for 'Best DJ' in Brighton by the Juicy Awards 2002. Winning it in 2000 and being runner up in 2001 for 'Best DJ & Club'.

From his first live performances 5 years ago aT free underground parties Chris was hooked, and has vigorously pursued his dream career ever since. The South West is a notoriously difficult area of the country to get recognised as a DJ - with few premier venues on the recognised circuit, but this hads not stopped Chris, who balances residencies at UNDERGROUND @ DISCO 2000 and CLUB 2K Plymouth and PARADOX in Caernarfon with his own BASSMENT promotion in Plymouth.

Recent exposure through various agencies has landed him with plum international guest slots in BRAZIL, THAILAND, NEW ZEALAND and headline billing to 3000 people in VENEZUELA with bookings in PORTUGAL on the way - which must make him one of our most widely flown performers!  Chris continues to feature regularly in the UK with appearances at FUTURE FUNK, OORPI and RESURRECTION and is a regularly contributer to DJ charts in the music mags.

Quality always rises to the top - he's already made it onto our Premier roster and we think this top spinner will be aiming much higher yet!

Ricky Redhead had been a professional DJ for over 10 years and has already worked with industry icons such as Ministry of Sound, Crasher, Slinky and Godskitchen and September 2006 will see Ricky take to the stage for a house & breaks set at the Isle of Wight's, 'Bestival' in the UK. making it 3 years in a row appearing on the line up.

In past years, Ricky has been billed alongside Fatboy Slim, Mark Luvdup, Lisa Lashes, Anne Savage, Fergie, X-Press 2, Rachel Auburn, Annie Mac, Rob Da Bank, Miss Behavin', Les Hemstock, Rachel Shock, Lisa Pinup, The Tidy Boys, Howard Donald (Take That) & Dan Bailey giving some indication of the high standard of this DJ professional with a wide repertoire of styles. During
February 2005 Ricky returned to playing Happy Hardcore, taking a residency with 'The Hardcore Sanctuary' promotion and since has supported legends of hardcore, Dougal, Hixxy, Sy, Styles, Breeze & Slipmatt among many others.

Over the years Ricky has held many residencies and played hundreds of guest spots all over the U.K, mainland Spain and Ibiza, delighting crowds and bookers each and every time he puts on his headphones, as well as lauching Cowes Week (the world's biggest sailing event) on this native Isle of Wight with Crasher Classics Tour playeing host to a 2000 capacity marquee on the lawns of Northwood House where Ricky played a 2 hour set, providing a slower classics house and trance set warming up for Les Hemstock and later on the same night to follow Lisa Lashes with a closing set of up beat anthems and Hard Dance. Ricky was also booked to play on both sides of the Isle of Wight's first ever, 'Club Wars event making appearances for 'ClubWiser' along side BBC Radio 1's boy, DJ Fergie and again in the 'Hardcore Sanctuary' room inside Northwood House itself, supporting DJ Dougal.

Ricky has also turned his hands and ears to becoming a producer recently completing an HND Music Production and performance course, so his self produced tunes will soon be rocking the dance floors near you.
